I bought this card a few days ago and it has worked flawlessly, yes the fan is a teeny bit noisy, but the card never runs hot, even when running witcher 2 on ultra settings, so i cant complaint much in that department. I set it up on a system with AMD Phenom II X4 955 Black Edition 3.2GHz AM3 125W and Corsair Vengeance Blu 8 GB (2X4 GB) PC3-12800 1600mHz DDR3 and i get abour 40 fps on witcher 2 on ultra settings, would like to test it on crysis 2 as well, ill possibly append this when im able to the only problem with this card is the fact that xfx claims double warranty on the card, but its seems impossible to log into their website to register your card, even though i have repeatedly emailed them with no response, also this means no access to the free game we've all come to expect when purchasing a new card to sum up: card: amazing, support: non-existent

I dont know what all the hub bub is about the fan, my 6870 is hardly noticable, unless i crank it up with with amd overdrive and then yeah it sounds like a hurricane. but duuuh!!! right now its setting at 53% temp is 54deg cent and its all good
